Our Story
Chapter 1
How we met
We met at a fundraising dinner for a local masjid in Richardson. Omar was volunteering at the chai table and Ayesha came back for a third cup. Our families like to say the chai did the matchmaking.
Chapter 2
The rishta
After a year of friendship, Omar's parents visited the Siddiqui home with mithai and a lot of nervous small talk. Two cups of chai later (of course), both families said yes.
Chapter 3
What comes next
We are so grateful to begin this next chapter surrounded by the people who raised us, taught us, and prayed for us. We cannot wait to celebrate with you.
